This is taken on the West Coast Trail. It is a rugged 75 Km trail on the west Coast of Vancouver Island (West coast of Canada), and takes about 5-7 days to hike the whole thing.
This is a temperate rainforest, which makes the trail predictably wet and muddy all year long. It also means there is life everywhere, from tangled vines to 300 foot tall tress.
August is known as the fog month in this rainforest, thus the fog in the background. |

Nice photo. Looks very eerie!
This says British Columbia to me! It should be a tourist poster. The verdant greens, the sun filtering through, and nice composition to show height as well as depth. I love it!
