Now, this is unusual! Beautiful turtle captured perfectly. Love the red on the shell and the excellent details of the shell, neck, face and feet. He looks very proud of himself. The reflection is wonderful - not sure I've seen a turtle reflected in water before.

Wonderful expo keeping the details of the dark shield, head and legs while still not over exposing the log! I see you applied flashlight to achieve that but no bad sign of it.
Wonderful details and a nice pose showing neck patterns.
Such a nice animal is hard to find, TFS!

A turtle! This is new. I suspect it is a red-eared slider though I have not seen one with such nice red markings on the shell. Great sharpness and detail...

Very colourful species, but in my opinion not a turle but terrapin, as it is fresh water species :) Small difference but I believe rather important, you can find a little more details here :)
I like a lot water reflection too :)

Bonsoir Mario,

Cette tortue sur le l'arbre est impressionnante. Elle reçoit un bon éclairage ce qui fait ressortir les couleurs et leur donne un bonn contraste. Le sujet est bien cadré. Les réflexions dans l'eau sont des atouts à la composition. Bonne soirée.
