Talbot lake is just past Jasper, and on some sunsets shows the mountains behind in real good light. This was getting late, and was all I saw for the trip.

Hi Doug
Jasper has to be one of the most beautiful places in Alberta. You've captured Talbot Lake so well. I really like the different shades of blue in both the lake and sky. The stormy clouds in the distance add nice interest too. Well done.

This is such a beautiful scenery! I love this composition, colors and lightning created by the late day. We don't have such mountains here in Quebec, they are impressive and majestic. Cheers,
Claudine

Very nice how the light at this time of day shows the layering's and such in geology while still retaining the overall beauty...You are putting the "pedal to the metal" as we old CB'ers used to say! It meant in CB jargon that a trucker on the road could push harder on the gas because there were no police around...another trucker would usually say this to a group traveling...They must have been paid by salary eh?

Hi Doug

Stunning composition with excellent use of light and colour. The strata are very well seen in the mountains.

Hi Doug,
A dreaming landscape!
The sky's colours, clear atmosphere, and nice texture on the mountains at the back made of this a great picture.
I like the colour saturation, as well as the composition proposed.
My compliments and thanks for share it.
Best regards,
JM

The lighting is very effective here, it really brings out the details in the distant mountains. Great job!

Hallo Doug
What a wonderful photo to share with us. I think seeing a scene like this in real life must be an awesome experience. The Creator of All is just wonderful to have formed and shaped the beautiful nature all around us to admire and appreciate, and this photo of yours is such proof of His Mighty Creation. This is really a magnificent landscape view, with a mix of blue sky, fleece clouds, charcaol coloured mountains and greenery in the foreground. This is a PPPPP – Pretty perfect postcard picture photo. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your day.
Kind regards
Anna
