Some weird species I found the other day. Not a macro.
I see what appears to be a little pixie in the right bottom. Use the imagination ans see the dress with floral bust and head down. Perhaps a wing on the right.OK Maybe I'm crazy.

Doug,

A very good DOF you have in this pic. The FG and BG are well blurred and the subject is very detailed, sharp and clear. The hint of sunlight catching the subject is also great.

The shallow DOF, colors in the background, texture of the fungi and exposure control are great. Good job!

Very nice, Doug. First off, a beautiful shot of a fairly ugly (IMHO) 'shroom. Still, the mushroom is fascinating! Good indirect light. I don't normally like a brighter bg, but I think for this subject (mushrooms that like the dark) it works very well. Nice color, too.
