Agnes Lake view from the other side.

In my last image I was at the far end of Agnes Lake, now I'm in the sun looking SW. I really like the way the mountains come down toward the lake. The Larch are starting to change into their fall colours. I only wish that the sky would have been blue. The clouds started to roll in and created a white sky.

Agnes Lake is located just above Lake Louise in Banff National Park. We went for lunch then we hiked up to Agnes Lake.

well done and many thanks
Tony

Bonjour Janice,

Hi Janice,
A great reflections, clear water and cool mountains all contributed to a great picture. Having right composition doesn't hurt neither :-) Well done!
Cheers, Andriy

Hello Janice.
A wonderful postcard in 3D!
Perfect chromatism and luminosity.
Image of a spectacular profundity also.
Well done!

You can't have it all, Janice.
And you are right about the mountains and the lake.
But what I do like is that reflection in combination with the shallow water.
Finally it's less scary than your 'grizzly' image:)
Well done!
TFS

Janice,

A very well composed pic that shows the reflection in the water very well. The detail is good and the landscape is breathtaking.

Hi Janice,
Superb image with wonderful depth, now thats mountains. Makes me long to get back to Alberta. Great color and depth of field makes the grandier of the mountains jump out.

Hi Janice,
The reflection is awesome. It is really wonderful how the mountian comes down to the lake. As if it continues below the waterline. The light had to be really harsh, you have some hot spots in both sky and logs.

Niek
