| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
A pair of sandhill cranes flying together. There was 10 of these I saw at the George Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary on this weekend, and they did give a lot of entertainment with some of the flight and in water antics.
Thanks for the view. |

Wow! I didn't know that we had this bird here in Canada. This is a super in-flight shot, not easy to de especially to have both of them in focus. Exposure is natural and details very good. You chose good composition. I like this red patch on their head! Beautiful!
Claudine
PS, This picture deserves more attention that it had so far!

Hi Doug,
This pair of Cranes flying in tandem is spectacular. What wonderful timing to get this. Their heads, necks, and wings looks so graceful. Nice colors and details against the cloudy sky. I love the contours of the wings. A superb in-flight shot.

Hello Doug
This shot deserves much, much, more attention.
A wonderful in flight capture,I love the synchro look of the wings.
The colours are beautiful,it will sound goofy but this shot gives me the feeling of a casual flight with the pair just chatting as they fly along.LOL.
The clouds really add a beautiful dimension to the image.

Gorgeous shot! Your work is always so amazing. I agree with Claudine - your shots deserve so much more attention than they get. This is a wonderful moment captured here. A perfect opportunity snapped.
