Un bon angle de vue pour montrer sa belle huppe. Excellent focus sur l'oeil. Bonne netteté de l'ensemble. Superbes luminosité et couleurs. C'est vrai qu'ils sont très photogéniques ces oiseaux.

Ton jardin est très fréquenté, Mario, vivre parmi ces beaux geais bleus est fantastique. Je m'ennuie des oiseaux ici, puisque je ne nourris plus les geais bleus autant, ni les tourterelles et bruants, etc. à cause des chats. Heureusement que des photos comme la tienne, aujourd'hui, viennent réchauffer mon coeur et me rappelle à cette vie tonitruante qu'ils apportent autour de la maison. Merci!

Hello Mario,

The jay has a very fine pose looking attentively at something. It seems he did not see you. Together with the daigonaly placed stem the image is very dinamic. I like very much the way plumage colors blends with background's colors.

I'm sure he knows what he is looking for because he has found food in that garden before. He may think he is getting a free meal but he is also giving you and us a lovely photo. I love the soft light and inquisitive pose. The vertical format with the diagonals is very effective. Nice shot,

An excellent capture of this Blue Jay, using sharp focus to portray the plummage details very well.
The pose is very good ... he looks to be gazing at my computer desk!
I like the composition on the diagonal twig.

I think as I said before, the jay is your favorite as you picture it the best of all and the VERY best one with a Jay on your gear...That one is a classic. perhaps you could tell me where it is..I want to add it to the classics theme...Yo' da' man!

Hi Mario

Another splendid shot from you, my friend!
I remember blue-jays well from my trips to the US and i saw them many times just posing for a shot, but i never got one...i was at the beginning at my dSLR era :)
This however is a great model for what i was aiming for.
The details are terrific and the shallow DOF made sure you had a studio-like BG.
Very good exposure and composition, too.
