Pine Durbec:

Size of a blackbird, from 23 to 25 cm so plumage is a beautiful red raspberry. Its wings black and are equipped with wing bars. Its belly and its sides are gray. Its long tail is dark. Its thick nozzle is black. The female is gray with the tinted head and tail of yellow-olive. He generally lives the forests of conifers in period of nesting. In winter, he visits us sporadically and occupies then the mixed forests, the fruit trees in the cities or in the countryside. In summer one sees it more in north but it invades the south of Quebec when The winter is more rigorous and than food is done rare. This beautiful bird rondelet and not very savage leaves easily approximate with the great pleasure observers.

Bonjour Michel,
Ces oiseaux sont vraiment superbes mais malheureusement, je ne les aie pas dans ma région. C'est une belle prise de cette femelle avec une bonne exposition considérant ces conditions d'éclairage difficiles. La composition est excellent ainsi que les détails. Merci!
