Peter,

You are the TN King when it comes to owls... Amazing. These birds have been on my list for ages and I haven't had ANY luck with them. I didn't even see one and yet you continue to post picture after a picture of those magnificent birds. Good for you. I hope that one day I'll get to see and photograph them.... Until then I guess. Great work and TFS.
BTW - I am pretty sure it did catch something ...

This is great. I see a lot of snow so I am very curious if there is a catch.

Thanks a lot! this photo reminds me the documentary film of BBC Predators which shows the owl predation. They used a captive owl and a buzzer under the snow for attracting the owl to the film location. I am very eager to know if there is a capture of your owl? By the way, nice capture, tfs
