hello friends, this deer photo was shot from the
car window it was at the border of the road,

the lack of luminosity gives me hard time
if i go with slow shutter speed with my bridge
camera i could not because of the camera move
and because my bridge camera does not have
image stabilizer, but i did some photos
with slow shutter speed with my bridge,

my compact camera he has image stabilizer
my yesterday's photo was with my compact
and it was shot only at 1/10s shutter speed

i love this photo and a snow as background
it would be much better and beautiful photo

« White-tailed deer are truly magnificent
specimens in the early autumn. Their bodies
are rounded out by reserves of fat stored for
the lean months ahead. The new thick winter
coat exaggerates the thickness and sturdiness
of the body. Fawns have lost their spots and are
now short-faced, smaller replicas of their parents.

Most of the breeding occurs during the last
three weeks of November although some fawns
and yearlings breed in December and, rarely,
into January. The peak of the rut, or period of male
sexual activity, occurs during the last two weeks
in November in Canada but is more variable in
the southern U.S. Bucks with swollen necks,
caused by hormones associated with the rut,
travel almost incessantly, searching out the does
and engaging in mock battles with their rivals.
Sometimes a real battle develops, and occasionally
the antlers of the combatants become hopelessly
entangled, leaving both to die slowly. »

Merci

Asbed

Hello Asbed,
I wish our deer would not run away when we stop to try to take pictures!
But this one allowed you to take a fine portrait with superb sharpness and colours. Interesting to see the blue effect of the flash on the eyes, much better than red!
Thasnks and have a good weekend,
Ivan

Hi Asbed. You have done so well with the light you had to work with. You have been able to get such a fine close up with good detail in the fur. With natural looking colours. Its large eyes stand out so well TFS.

Nick..

Have a nice weekend.

Esta vez mejor que la anterior Asbed, pero los ojos se podrían mejorar supongo.
Un abrazo y buen fin de semana: J. Ignasi.

Hello Asbed,
Very beautiful photo of this 'blue eyed' deer. Excellent sharpness and details in beautiful colours. Good POV, eye contact and BG.
Regards,

bonjour Asbed
quel beau regard ! cette jolie dame des yeux bleus superbes
quelle chance d'avoir rencontré cette biche au bord de la route et d'avoir pu tiré son portrait une telle netteté
du beau travail !
Passe un bon dimanche
Jacqueline

Now that is just too cute Asbed. This one looks a bit tame. We had them in our small town in the wilderness where people fed them then complained about them coming in bunches...

Bonjour Asbed,

La prise de vue rapprochée permet de voir les détails et les couleurs du chevreuil qui ne semble pas inquiet de la présence du photographe. Le sujet est bien cadré. L'utilisation du flash aide pour le redu des couleurs. Bonne journée.

Pierre
