grasshopper on log
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| With such a hot, dry summer the grasshoppers are abundant in Southern Ontario. They are munching on everyone's flowers and gardeners are starting to notice the damage on tomatoes and other veggies. This one was very aware of my presence, and was ready to jump had I moved one bit closer. I cannot tell if his large hind leg is missing or is tucked under the wing. |

Hello Linda!
Lovely capture.POV,framing,DOF,details are wonderful.I think grasshoppers is a little overexposed and you should darken it at PS.Generally I liked your work.Have nice week,TFS...:-)
Hello Linda,
Great job on this one legged grasshopper.
Wonderful details, color, and pose. I especially like the sharp eye contact here.
They do seem to be everywhere don't they?
Thank you for sharing this with us, and have a happy summer!

Hi Linda, I have no time to write a decent comment. I give to you the well deserved smily.

Hello Linda, good composition of this grasshopper. The focus is fine but the exposure is a little too much.
His hind leg is missing, they seem to cop pretty well with the one! :-)
