| this is my favourite shot of a fly I have had so far. I saw this guy while sitting in a field of wildflowers waiting for a cloud to pass. He was motionless for about a minute and I took advantage. I just like the way you are able to get into that other world of the very small things with a macro lens. Most of my students are amazed when they see photos like this of insects. "Hey he's got spikes all over him!" He does but I think he is amazing. This one is appearing to get his morning drink off the morning dew. Hope you like it! Taken at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve with a 100mm f2.8 macro lens and a 2XTC on a tripod. |

Well composed, very good details and nice colours.
Maybe little noise in the BG, but thats a minor nit.
