| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| As is common all over Ontario just now, the Ruby-Throated hummingbirds are busy at the feeders and flowers, trying to gain as much weight as possible before they start on their extraordinary flights south to Central America. This little one has been constantly hanging around, sitting, then feeding. Just waiting to go, knowing instinctively that it is almost time. It has been a harsh season for them, very few mosquitoes in this drought of a summer. |

Hi Linda,
You captured as the title implies. Excellent shot. The road fooled your light meter, a hard situation.

Hello Linda,
Nice job on this sad reminder that summer is over, not just for the hummingbirds, for us as well.
Hope to see more postings from you. ;-D
