I love seeing these photos, of my country through others' eyes.

As many times as I have been to BC, I will never tire of the wondrous sights and feel of the place. (In my heart it is my home, since I first saw it in 1976...)

This is a majestical image and my hat is off to you, for going out of the way to find it, and capturing it so well, I continue to look forward to seeing more.

Regardless of the fact that the hords of tourist are in way lager numbers than herds of grazing animals places like Bannf or Yosemite ot Grand Teton remain such incredible monuments always a delightful sight, a window to Mother Nature's splendor at its best...

Hi Pieter, top shot. It seems that everything is in its place with this one. Beautful composition with the grass along the bottom framing the picture. The beautiful mountain backdrop is perfectly mirrored in the tranquility of the lake. Exposure is accurately handled revealing nice details in the puffy white clouds. Yes I really like this. 8/10 Excellent work.

Wow, I have a lot of catching up to do with your portfolio, Pieter! What a completely spectacular scene you have captured. I love the perfect stillness of the lake which has captured the lovely mountains. I can see that you had much better weather in Canada than I did, LOL!!

I think this is the best picture you have brought back from Canada, Pieter. It's a shame to limit it to 800 pixels, though, I wonder if you could post again with a thinner format and share a large post? The stunning vista makes great use of the lens. What I really like in this photo from my old stomping grounds is the way U managed to get that lil pine to grow onto the the blue hole of the reflection, albeit that it is dead centre. It shows that U took the time to "line up" the foreground, one of the few things one needs to do to make a good shot great! After all there aint much U can do about moving mountains!
