[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The photo was taken on a cool autumn evening. This little guy seemed glued to the milkweed and at first I thought it was dead. However, it took off after I took the picture. Probably it did not like the flash!

Not being an expert on crickets and grasshoppers, I can only assume that this one is a short-horned grasshopper (Orthoptera Acrididae).

This photo's composition is superb. It looks like a flower arrangement. Yu have this strong node on the diagonal and then fluffy white balls in the BG. The insect is just to show off. :)

Very nice shot, I like this composition a lot.

Excellent image, love the softness of the seeds and the grasshopper perched on top.

The colors in your image are so subtle and beautiful. It is not easy to photograph the Milkweed pod at this stage of it's life...I know...I have tried many times and never seem to be satisfied. Wonderfully composed as well and as Gerhard said...the grasshopper is like the cherry on the top of the ice cream sundae!

Nice work Daniel, excellent focus and colours, the composition is very nice but I would be tempted to crop off about 1cm of the bottom...it is subjective though.
