[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this photo of this bird in a pensive mood on the lake Aquitaine today. We had the first snowfall few days ago and now we are all set for the long winters.

I liked the way this bird looked so lonely on this log. For the complete story of this place, please check my posting on TE.

I am not sure which bird this one is, Vicky pointed out that it looked like a Gull to her. To me, built of the bird looked like that of a pigeon but the colour were those of a gull ... so maybe it an albino pigeon.

Nice shot Sarju. I saw your larger pic on TrekEarth and thought it was a great idea to show this guy on his own here. The reflection is marvellous - he looks so cold and lonely, but I don't suppose he cares too much! I don't think its a pigeon. I would guess a gull of some kind, but I'm not sure of the species.
