“Sun going down over the Cape” is the name of this photograph and it was taken on signal hill at sunset.
On a very cold day, windy chill -22°C, I bravely ventured on signal hill to take a few photographs. Needless to say, I took around eight photographs and retreated to the warmth of my car. I forgot to bring my cap and gloves.
The horizon shows the most easterly piece of land in North America, Cape Spear.

I like this image, Jim -- sort of brooding and chilly looking. I live on the opposite side of the continent, on Vancouver Island, where it is warm all winter - lol! But my Grandmother was a Newfy, and I still have relatives in Cornerbrook. Some day I would like to get out there for a visit.
