TRès belle photo Mario, Beaucoup de détails et les couleurs sont éclatantes. Pour ce qui est de l'identification, J'appuis ton identification. Il me semble que c'est un jeune mâle, la tête et le croupillon de cette couleur est une caractéristique des jeunes mâles. Une fois de plus belle image.

peautiful pose of this bird. I like the way the shape of bill (that the bird uses for picking pine seeds) it is clearly seen in the picture.

Effectivement Mario, il s'agit d'un Durbec immature mâle. On connait le gros mâle et bien la femelle lui ressemble mais, les parties colorées sont jaune olive et restreintes à la tête et au croupion. La femelle immature ressemble à la femelle adulte. Elle garde son plumage immature environ une année.
Le mâle immature ressemble à la femelle adulte mais la tête et le croupion sont orangés. Félicitations encore pour cette jolie composition tout est parfait et très bien fait.
