[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a 10 seconds exposure on a very difficult lighting situation. Rear curtain slow sync mode, 2X crop in the D2X brigning the D2X and the 200mm to 400mm. At that level of exposure time, movement is critical.

Beautiful photo, technical difficulty aside. I know how dark it cana be in a rainforest streamside. Welldone! Nice that the heron cooperated too!

Hi Yves,
What an amazing photo. With the slow exposure, it almost looks surreal. What I find realy amazing, is that you've caught the bird sitting still for 10 seconds. The filters bring an extra sweet touch to your photo.
TFS,
Niek

Another fine shot, Yves. On this occasion, I would prefer to see a tighter crop (maybe not possible?), but still a good creative image.
Regards, Nigel.

Hi Yves

Well done. How did you manage to get the Heron to stay so still. Excellent result. Congrats!

What you have given to this bird to get it static for 10 seconds! It's very nice capture. Surroundings are very beautiful - soft slow water and beautiful color tones.
