Here is a third shot of Writing-on-Stone. While waiting for the weather to get nice again, I recently ran across this and thought "This is nice because it shows a hoodoo, the underlying rock, and the sky."
Taken with a polarizing filter to bring out the sky. PP: Just a contrast adjustment.

I liked most the colours of the "rocks" and the sky, you did it well with the polarizer filter, good composition, DOF and POV,

Hi Mike,
This looks very much like parts of Utah. I think the polarizer worked well here. Whenever I use a polarizer the photos come out either really great or very dark and mediocre. Lots to learn! I like the composition and clarity of this shot.
