I really should have explained this shot more than I did when uploaded it in May 2006. This was a hand held shot from in front of my house facing north. A huge thunderstorm had just passed over Cochrane, this shot is of the clouds churning and bubbling over high in the sky. I didn't adjust the colours here at all, I didn't do anything except resize. The sun was setting and nature painted the scene. I felt I was really lucky to capture this thunderstorm in such a beautiful way.

I see you went back to your amazing clouds photos. This must have been a .... of a storm. But it also treated you well, becuase it gave you great photo ops. Beautiful colors and exposure.

I love your cloud posts.
The only reason why I do not take cloud only photos is that I believe people would think I have gone completely mad because I always take a lot of photos nobody else seems to understand why and very rarely some except me is looking at them at all. Anyway - it is good to see that at least someone somwhere else on the planet seems to have similar thoughts about mother nature.

Amazing palete of colors, view looks like sky on old baroque paintings , just to add some angels.

That is a wonderful image. It reminds me a painting, Salvador Dali or someone else that can really do clouds. I love the colors, a very pleasing blend of blues and pinks. The lack of a foreground does not hurt at all. Very nice, simple and beautiful.
