She let me get very close to her. Otherwise, I would not be able to get (with the Sigma 70-300 at 300mm) the shot this sharp.
Taken with Rebel XT and Sigma 70-300m APO in the Botanical Garden of Montreal.

Lovely capture of this lady cardinal.
The details are very sharp and the colors are beautiful and very natural looking. Nice composition on that twig with the white flowers. The bug in the beak adds extra interest.
