| After a stormy day, paddling the only boat on this small lake was so peaceful. The water was dead calm. Spring resident loons were on patrol on the lake. Bald eagle mama was nesting in a tree top, while her mate circled overhead. I think the reflections in this calm water capture the essence of that early evening. |

Yes I love the ambience of those little interior lakes too, and you've caught it well here Elelynn.
Hi Evelynn,
A beautiful scene! Only small ripples keep it from being a perfect mirror shot. I love the dense lush vegetation. Looks like a great place to paddle and enjoy the scenery. I am envious!

Hi Evelynn,
The ripples makes the reflection perfect. Without it it would just look too plain. The effect of the ripples gives it this aquarell painting kind of look. The dense vegitation is beautiful and gives it a sence of a very healthy climat. I love the larger tree in the center of the photo as a eye catcher.
TFS,
Niek
