Ah, and so it is good news to know that you are still watching. I've been concerned as I noticed you did not do any postings and I was wondering what you were up to, until yesterday when I eventually saw your comments on my critique to our friend from down under. Thanks for your support. It is good to see you are operational again. I hope the PC doctor can sort out your predicament as soon as possible.
This is a great shot you have of the owl. The composition is excellent with a fantastic POV of the bird sitting in its hollowed tree. Those eyes are penetrative.
I love the colours and the details are sharp. You managed the exposure just right to show the lovely contrasts between the dark and white areas.

Hi Luc,
An amazing shot of this Screech Owl. A bit blurry but still a nice catch. I love the colours of his feather and eyes.

Today I visited a Birds of Prey Facility where they rescue owls, eagles, kestrels, hawks, and more. It was so interesting. I think owls are such an interesting bird. I was able to hold a orphaned Great Horned Owl today. He was co cute and curious. TFS Janice

I have bought the same camera too, for macro shots. One thing in the Netherlands is not so good and that is the weather. Your close up is well taken, very good job.

The details are so sharp, and I like the way he is leaning against the trunk inside the hollow.

A nice shot of this little fellow, he's perfectly camouflaged. Good exposure, nice detail and excellent colours. I like the inclusion of the green leaf, it adds a good contrast.
