Wow! gorgeous waterscape Joseph.
The rocks in the foreground add nice texture against the dramatic cloud formations. The horizon is straight....something I have a hard time doing :) Composition is balanced, lighting is nice, not harsh. A great photo. TFS Janice

Hi Joseph. One of the best picture I've ever seen on TN.
This landscape is amazing with a great sky.
You composed it very well and the pic is really sharp and detailed.
If I was you I'd closed aperture up to f/11 or f/16 to obtain more DOF. This short lense allows you to shot hand-held up to 1/125 sec.

I have to say that this is the sort of photo that one day might just get me in an aeroplane for however long it takes to cross the atlantic. I love it. It is excellent. The lighting, the storm, the foreground, the reflection... the rock, just great.

Beautiful landscape! I live in a wooded region where you can't see a mile away so images like this always impress me. Violating the rule of the thirds by placing the horizon in the middle of the frame was the right thing to do in this case. Good use of the filter makes for excellent detail both in the sky and in the foreground. I second Elefantino, though; the aperture should have been stopped down more. Congratulations,
