Attracting Colours

Inspired by the fine work of Arfer on this board, I too was blessed with an opportunity to get up close and personal with an insect. Not sure if this is technically a moth or a small butterfly, but I found the colour match between insect and flower quite fascinating.
Taken at full zoom from about 5 feet away with the shutter speed cranked up a bit for a crisp shot. |

Une merveilleuse photo que ce Joli papillon,Très belle composition, les couleurs et le cadrage et les détails sont tous très bons.Très beau BG
Bravo et merci...JP
Absolutely stunning butterfly love the background & composition - colours and details are awesome...
Well done...
Hey...another great shot!
Nice detail and really vivid colours here. Composition and lighting are excellent.
The way I've learned to tell the difference between butterflies and moths is that most moths have fuzzy antennas and butterflies are smooth...I know there are some varieties of moths with smooth antennas. Have a great weekend. Janice
