We found this new born (couple days to our estimation, because it didn't look it was able to fly by itself) turtle-dove in the grass.

We took the bird and place it in a pine tree to prevent him to be caught by a predator... like a cat

Very young one, but well into its transformation from down to feathers. Excellent frame filling portrait, Perfect exposure. The colors and detail look superb.

Awww... he is so cute, Stephan.
He looks funny because his head looks too small for his body.
Anyway a very sharp capture, with just the right exposure.
I love those little curly white "hairs" on his chest.
I hope he is okay,
