[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Coming from Vancouver and going on our way to Whistler, we stopped at this place,Porteau Cove Provincial Park.
The views were great over here inspight of the many clouds that day, so we just took our time to relax for a while and enjoy the scenery, before we went on our way to Whistler.
(I also made a workshop of this picture.)

Here's some info on Porteau Cove:
Porteau Cove is located on the Howe Sound fjord, 38 km north of Vancouver on the Sea-to-Sky Highway, 20 km south of Squamish, 8.5 km south of Britannia Beach. Other nearby communities include Brackendale and Lions Bay.

The park is 50 hectares in size, and offers picnicing, camping, swimming, windsurfing, and a boat launch. Porteau Cove is a very popular area for scuba diving, with a series of artificial reefs including two sunken vessels.

The artificial reef has been constructed from chains of tires, hollow concrete piles and blocks, and steel beams. Over 100 species live here including octopus, plumose anemone, ling cod and several types of shrimp.

Hello Nel,
Lots of scenic nature in Canada..!
This one leaves me with the impression of vast lonliness, but still with a pleasant, peaceful feeling...
Well framed, but I'd like to see more punch in colours but of course some days will come with dull light too...

Hoi Nel,
Prachtige foto, ondanks het wat mindere weer. Het zicht is perfect en je POV is erg mooi. Misschien iets minder lucht, zodat je horizon wat hoger komt zou mooier zijn.
