Summer's end at Park Lake
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Apparently last weekend was the last hurrah of the summer. Since school had started the lake was relatively deserted, even though the temperature was 28C (82F). So I wandered around the lake contemplating the end of the summer. I was taken by the stark look of trees and their reflection in the lake.

RP: I cloned out the dust spots. Dust spots in photography are like grammatic mistakes in my writing -- I only notice them after it's been posted or published! |

Hi Mike,
I was writing critique on the other when my connection crashed. I noticed the spots.
What I really like about this photo is the really small line of green on the horizon, seperating sky from water. The shoreline is a perfect leadline and gives the photo depth. Good detail and colors.

Niek
P.S. just saw that my critique did get uploaded.

Hi Mike ,
the depth in this photo is incredible. Very nice POV, with a wonderful view of the tranquil lake. Beautiful subdued colors which gives it a wondeful relaxing mood. The larger size format intensifies the excellent composition even more.

nice peaceful photo, like the reflections and your POV..TFS
