In Alberta, Canada the license plates of cars are adorned with the image of this uniquely fragrant and beautiful but WILD flower, now commonly known as, THE ALBERTA ROSE.
In 1930 this wild flower was adopted as the symbol of
the Province of Alberta because the Women's Institutes of an Edmonton newspaper suggested that a provincial floral emblem should be selected.
The school children of the Province made the FINAL choice. It was adopted OFFICIALLY.
Hence the title: " ALBERTA CHILDREN LOVE ME."
This photo is for my wife.

very pretty flower, nice macro , great colors, I think the frame is just a tad distracting though..the flowers are so pretty it sort of takes away from it with that bright orange..love the photo though!

THE COLOUR OF THE FLOWER IS SOFT AND BEAUTIFUL. THE DIRECT SUNLIGHT MAKING SHADES ON PETAL IS HARSH AND IS OVER EXPOSING THE PETALS A BIT.THE BLURRED BACKGROUND COULD HAVE ADDED TO THE BEAUTY OF THE FLOWER. THE LIGHT ON THE LEAF IS DISTRACTING THE VIEWER FROM THE FLOWER. ALL SAID AND DONE BUT WHILE SHOOTING NATURE EVERYTHING CAN NOT BE PLANNED AND ONE HAS TO TAKE SHOT IN SPUR OF A MOMENT.

Nice capture. Well chosen composition.
But I prefer dont use direct sunlight because it makes sharp shadow - shine lines. You can use an umbrella etc. to make shadow. But sometimes we prefer direct sun light on main object. But it must be o the whole object. These are my ideas. Your capture is very nice too. TFS and regards.
