Great shot, the composition is lovely with a great POV, the detail is nice and sharp and the colours are lovely, I like the reflected colours in the water.

New gear I see. I know your were unhappy with the Canon gear, so you packed up and got rid of it! I see you can still take magnificent shots with a Nikon! Stunning work. What a great capture of this wood duck.
I know they tend to be photogenic, but you really nailed this one. Very sharp details and good exposure.
The light in the watery BG is amazing, both in the colors and in the shape of the waves. Wonderful reflection as well.

This is a splendid portrait of such a nice looksing animal.
Ts colors are really beautiful, nice sharp details and great looking reflectiong on the water. Also great are the POV, the DOF and the exposure is managed very nicely.

Magical water here. The light and colours here are wonderful. The ripples forms strange and beautiful shapes. The fact that you have this fabulous duck and reflection with it just adds to the whole picture. Excellent composition, good POV and great colours

This is gorgeous Mike. I can see I have a lot to learn yet. The water is liquid gold and the duck exquisite. I am curious as to where this was taken. We have wood ducks here where I live in Oregon, but they are VERY elusive. I see them on occasion, but it is definitly a "now you see them...now you don't" proposition. I could never be able to get a shot even with a huge lens, never mind a 200mm...even with cropping.
