Good job on this hummingbird clearwing.They are quite difficult to shoot.I like the colours very much.Good DOF and POV.The details on the body are very clear.The photo is well composed and has a lovely blurry BG.TFS

a wonderful hummingbird-moth, I love the species with the glasswings very much.
I also had a hummingbird-moth here in the last days, but with "normal" wings, not so phascinating transparent ones, but I saw them in Thailand. Very amazing, thanks for sharing yours, we can see the glasswings very good here, bye

Superb snapshot of a hummingbird moth, JP, trying to suck nectar from those lovely flowers which look like forget-me-nots to me.
The wings are whirring so fast you get only a blurred impression of them.

Ces sphinx sont sidifficiles ß photographier, ils volent tout le temps sans jamais s'arrrêter. Vous avez cependant réussi une excellent photo de cet insecte, avec de superbes détails et une très belle composition. Les couluers sont également très belles. Félicitations !

very well captured typical hovering pose of the glasswing hawkmoth. The body precisely on focus, the strong motion blur of wings demonstrates the visual impression of the human eye.
