Aspen meets the ground
 |

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| The aspens are now in full fall colour in Manning Park, east of Hope, BC. I took plenty of shots of the towering larger aspens all around, but I particularly liked this shot of the leaves from a smaller aspen almost intermingled with the still green groundcover. A few bright red rosehips can also be seen in this photo. |

Hi Tim,
Isn't fall fun? I've taken so many shots already and we are off to Rainier and central Oregon for a few days as the colors are supposed to be at their height right now...and the weather is good! Yeah!
I love all the colors in your picture. It does seem to have an unusual yellow cast though...even the greens look really yellow. I tried a workshop. I can't remember right off hand how to remove a color cast so just used Auto Color Correction! I'll have to find my notes.

Hi Tim,
I really like the clarity and details of this photo. It is great to see these beautiful fall colors, I still need to wait, because it looks like we got some late summer weather again (20 degrees C) The colors seem to look OK to me.
