The picture seems to lack the final pinch of focus / crispness. Without a note its difficult to get a feeling if this was a unique opportunity or if you have a chance to take more shots of this animal.

Bravo pour votre oeil aguisé; vous avez été bien chanceux de le voir et encore plus de réussir à le photographier. Je vis au Québec et ça ne m'est jamais arrivé... Vous avez eu un excellent réflexe et dans les circonstances, cette photo est très réussie; bravo!

Bravo pour avoir su voir cet ours depuis votre bus ! Beaucoup de gens seraient passé à côté sans rien voir. Le composition est jolie, avec cette ligne diagonale, et j'aime bien aussi tous ces différentes nuances de vert. La pose de l'ours est belle aussi, il a l'air curieux. Bien joué !

I agree the focus isn't spot on but I don't think that matters - after taking my first bear pictures earlier this year I know exactly how fast they move! So well done on capturing this. It is nice to see the bear in it's habitat and giving you a curious look. Lovely shot. Thank you for sharing

Well i must congratulate you on managing to catch an image of a wild bear...not an easy task I should guess.He gave you not a particulary nice look...I hope he wasn't thinking of lunch.Nice natural colour...shades of green.Well done.

Bonjour Thomas,
Prendre un ours en photo est certainement impressionnant, et, pour l'avoir aussi bien avec une focale de 300mm, il devait tout de même être assez proche. A part cela, l'image est fort belle et l'animal se dégage bien malgré un environnement d'herbes hautes. Les couleurs montrent une dominante bleue que l'on peut facilement corriger (voir WS). Bravo pour cette belle photo animalière.
