So that's where you went. You've been silent for the last couple of days.

A really beautiful photo with, as Rob mentioned, a very serene atmosphere. The composition is perfect, with the tree in the right position and the perfect FG interest to lead me to the river and further into the scene. I like the way you've used the tree to block the sun. Great clarity and exposure.

For me, this is landscape photography at it's best as it contains all the ingredients I like so much: mountains, trees, clouds and a stream. Well composed, sharp foucs and great colors. Well done & TFS!

This is lovely Mike. I can see I really must get to work with that lens. You have produced some really nice images with it. I like this one a lot. The sunlight tall grasses my the tree are so nice. This is a very strong composition and has amazing DOF. Sure looks clearer there now than the smokey days of September when we were there.
