Hi Guylaine, this looks like it is a prickly Agave - maybe. I'm not 100%. This succulent can be quite dangerous in the garden from the prickles. Apparently they only flower once and then they die. But they do produce 'pups' that you can plant meantime. TFS.
Try looking up Google and type in Agave and see if you can see any photos of a similar plant there.
