A very beautiful and touching picture! The feeling here is very strong :)
Also the note is great...i never knew that about mother zebras :)
I really like the sharpnes and the details, the lovely natural colors and the very well managed light!
However, if i'm to be perfetly honest...the only thing i don't like is that male deer from the distance. I understand that you had to use a big DOF and it worked really well (it's one of my favorite elements of the shot) bit unfortunately it captured the deer very clearly, too.....and these two species really dont mix (not in my mind anyway) :)
Hope you don't mind me saying this :)

Anyway, the composition is superb and this picture definately deserves one big happy green smile :)

Hi Sky,
If you think of it, this a rather strange sight. A canadian landscape with African Animals. On the other hand it is rather interesting to see them walking around in such a huge open space...no fence or concrete walls. The moment captured is, as they say in the mastercard commercial, priceless. Considering taking it through a window, the clarity is just perfect.
