[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The llamas are found in South America. They like it down near the equator because it is warm year round. South America is where they get the healthiest food and water.
Llamas are inexpensive to keep. In the zoo, the llama will nibble on alfalfa hay and a salt lick. The llama doesn’t need a lot of protein. Llama chow is also fed to the llamas in captivity . In the wild the llama's diet is vegetation. It has the same impact on the environment as a large deer.

Hi Sky,
Nice photo. I think the colours in the photo and the framing colours work well together here.
Regards
Matt.

2 points just because it's a llama photo! The top is a bit too cropped for me, but it is a nice scene.

Hi Sky,
Sometime we just don't have time to wait a little bit longer...
It should be nicer if head part was clear, not blocked by vegetation at FG. As others said, it was cropped too tight at upper part. Other then composition [which is very subjective], this shot was nice.

Hi Sky,
This llama looks healthy and happy in this safari park. A bit tight at the upper part of the picture. Anyway a good picture. Well seen and done.

Very pretty , very serene shot, I like the foliage around the llama ..we actually used to have some that lived very close to us when we lived in Vermont. People there use them for when they go hiking. The llamas carry their bags..:o)
I have to admit I've never seen them when I've been hiking as that would be a great photo in itself! Thanks for sharing this one..I am really enjoying your trip to Lion Country Safari!
Donna :o)

Thanks for your comments on Just enjoying the day!

Well captured Sky, I too agree with Billygoat the top is too close to the framework. Love the scenery though...

Hello Sky,
I don't know why but I like this animal :) This POV and details are very nice and I love the little yellow flower in front of the animal. I know that in Quebec, they are more and more Lama's farms. When I get tired of working, I always say as a joke that I will start a Lama's farm but I guess I couldn't because I would have problem killing those beauties for meat :) Maybe I could just sell their wool??? TFS,
Claudine

Hi Sky.
Wonderful colourful shot. You have selected DOV very exactly. The large aperture allowed to blur the BG. In your case it was not so easy. The green plants and yellow flowers decorated your picture excellently. Only the cropping (on the top) is strong a bit (it seems to me).
My compliments and TFS,
Alexei.

Hi Sky.
I like this composition very much.Very pretty yellow herbage before lama and perfect blurry background forms large depth scene. Beautiful details and very pleasant natural colours.
Great work.Thank you for this view into nature.
Greetings Milos

Hi friend,
it looks like very busy! you have captured its feeding time! good timing and composition! point of view, colours, sharpness and details are great! Take care Ana:)

Bonjour Sky
