Female Rufous Hummingbird taking a short rest on my wife's finger. As previously indicated in my notes, these little birds are aggressive and very bold. Also curious and not overly wary of humans. This little girl sat here for several minutes sipping nectar and preening it's feathers before taking off.

Hi Walter

This is really a very qierd and interesting behavior to me! I would have never thought that such an animal could rest on a human's hand! Very impressive catch!
The very nice clear and sharp details and the lighting are impecable here! Also the POV is excellent, the natural colors are very beautiful and the contrast is great!

Interesting that the hummiingbird was bold enough. Very good detail - does not look OEed even though the flash fired. Whites exposed very well. Good shot!
