[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Tamihi Creek is one of several tributaries of the Chilliwack River. This scene is of a large pool where the turbulent waters take a brief rest before making it's way into the Chilliwack River.
I had to stand knee deep in rather cold water in order to get this perspective.
Looking back at my EXIF info, I'm really at a loss as to why I went with F 5.6 on this one. If I was to do it over again, I'd go at least F 10.

Hi Tim,
I looks very serene and tranquil. The colors are explosive. TFS/ Marty

Hi Tim,
I like your compo;it is simple but good.
Puzzled about sharpness though..maybe a higher aperture value like 22 would help...

This is nice despite the wide aperture. I've finally decided to shoot always in aperture priority and start high and move down if need be for shutter speed. I have been really slow to learn this...Just ask Niek! Standing knee deep in water huh? You have really got the photographe bug! I think this shot could use a slight rotation to the left.

Evelynn : )

Hi Tim,
So you would stand knee deep in the water again....I would actually do the same, since these are the more important parts of photography. Besides the DOF, te view is really stunning and you did realy good on your POV. I hope you were able to get warm and dry soon after. I do agree with Evelynn on the rotation.
TFS,
Niek
