At Lake Louise in the Canadian Rockies there is a trail that goes around the lake. The trail has some wonderful views, but I was intrigued by the shapes in the mountaints on the opposite shore. This was taken back in May.

A wonderful place, Mike,
I like the view up to the mountains against the blue sky.
One shadow looks like a face with a long nose ;-) Thanks and greetings

Lovely mountain shot, the colours look great and the mountain shapes are fabulous

I'm still tring to decide if I like your partial tree in your last post and now you give me another one : /
I can't make up my mind about them. For some reason I find them distracting but I am trying to figure out why. I know most probably think it helps to frame the subject but I wonder if there is enough of it.

Thanks for sharing your mountains with us.

Evelynn : )

Hi Mike,
Seems like the partial tree has already been discussed. I agree with your reply to Evelynn.
The view is really wonderful showing the roughed peaks and the virgin snow. The different diagonal lines of the trees, rock and snow all come together in the perfect spot. Just a small pitty that a tree is partially blocking this point.

Hi Mike,
Some beautiful and rugged scenery. I would have been tempted to leave out the tree on the right and possibly use something else in the foreground. As always, these are matters of personal taste. The clarity, detail. and DOF, are superb.

Hi Mike, I think the composition is better with this tree, picturing the compo without it would have lessened the visual experience. Well done.

Hi Mike,

A nice image of the Canadian Rockies at Lake Louise under a beautiful blue sky, the photo has a good composition, DOF and nice colors. Thanks for sharing.
