The lakeshore of lake Ontario.
The stones, the bushes, the branches are covered by frozen snow and ice.
The scenery looks beautiful , but when I was taking this shot was very, very cold.

The effect of frozen snow and ice is beautiful, Ziggy. Great POV and DOF. And the inside frame letting the branches and frozen objects is a good idea too, IMO. Would have been nice to capture the same shot under different lighting (time of day). TFS

Stunning Ziggy. Very good POV and DOF. Excellent shot. Never seen something like this. Well done

Tout simplement somptueux ! I believe you when you said it was frozen ! I just have one regret: the sticks on the right upper side, which aren't frozen in this white world. But it's a great shot!

Very special one this one, it oamost looking a 3 D shot, very good depth in it, good details and beautiful colours, good job

A very impressive scene, well captured Ziggy. One wonders how on earth the trees can survive all that ice.
I'd last about 5 minutes,I'm sure.

Wow! That's a degree of cold I don't think I have ever experienced. Wonderful picture Ziggy, they look like rock formations. Congratulations on a very good shot.

Ziggy, you captured this at the perfect time of day. The warm tones of the sunset or sunrise are the best times to do scenery and landscape shots. Your focus is spot on and the composition is well done. This image shows the true colors of snow and ice at a time when shadows are cast or less intense lighting.
Well done.

Mike

Hi Ziggy

It makes you feel a bit cold, despite your beautiful warm tones, and the soft light. After all it is winter, lol.
Great shot.
