[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
My inspiration for Duck Hunting in the city comes from my Sweedish Bro, Gert, Trek N's Proficiant Duck Hunter. I used selective focus again, now what's that? Well, instead of the norm of F/8, I used F/2.8 it's just stepping out of the box and going for an arty shot. "Shhhhhhhhhh, be vewy, vewy, qwiet, I'm hunting."

Equipment Needed for daffy duck hunting;
Nikon DSLR, LOL
80-200mm F/2.8 or longer, "hey, are you happy to see me or is that a big lens you have.?"
I recommend a Mono Pod for the lens, "That's a mighty skinny..."
Bread or Corn
Set your cam to Shutter Priority and auto ISO.
Patience and have fun.

Do you honestly need me to write on what in the "H" this Mallard Drake is. I wonder how many times from wikipidea this bird has been writen about? Hmmm. :)

Hi Mike,
Great choise of the shutter speed, freezing the water but getting the wings showing the fast motion. Love the sharp details and colors on the head and body. The creative DOF really helped to isolate the duck.

Hi Mike, nice motion caught in the wings. I liek the movement. Good sharpness in the head considering the movement too. Well done.

Nicely done. I im learning a new technique here with the 'selective focus' method. I will try it some day! Your notes are very usefull.
Fine details where it should be and nice effect with the flaping wings at slow exposure.

I like how you've "reached" out, not just in photo, but technique Mike. The head is clear & sharp, with that wing-blur similar to say...a hummer on uppers? :)
