A scene from one of our favorite hiking destinations in the Coquihalla region of South-Western British Columbia. We had just packed camp and were heading out. I let my wife and our dog go ahead so I could grab this parting shot with Coquihalla Mtn prominently in the background.

A touch of red in a composition almost always is effective. Our labrador always carried her own provisions in her own backpack too. She would get so excited whenever she saw that backpack! Only once did she get caught between two rocks with her feet going a thousand mph not touching the ground! This is a nice rich image. Does it need a slight rotation to the left??????

Evelynn : )

Hi Tim,

I miss summer to. This picture is torture. I personnaly would avoid having people on pictures in TN but in this case, having a hiker with is dog is trully a 'Trek' in 'Nature'.
Nice crip and clear picture, nice colors and of course good composition. A rotation could be required unless the circular pond plays tricks with our eyes?

PC :)

Hi Tim,
Great to see the huge difference between the summer colors and the subtle fall and winter colors. I do miss summer, but I am enjoying fall and winter also, since it brings different ops for photography. I agree with Evelynn on the tilt.

Photo is awesome, the shot with your wife and dog really gives a great perspective to the size of the mountain in front of them! very peaceful scene ..also nice reflections in the pool there...TFS

Thanks for your comments on my photo "The sea is angry still " :o)

I miss summer to!
Tim, you captured a nice reminder of how calm the summer days can be. Rich warm colours and nice composition.

I hope you didn't loose your power or have any flooding during the last storms that passed through your area.

Merry Christmas
Janice

What a beautiful photo! I have to go there one of these days.
