"LAND OF SUNSHINE" .... You are looking at the ENGELMANN spruce tops in the Lake Louise area in Alberta, Canada.
When I first came here, many many many moons ago, I fell in love with this rich blue unpolluted Albertan sky; have since, travelled out of Canada, often, specially to Brazil ... a country I love ... & yet I have always returned .... HOME ... yes, I call it "home". I mean Alberta.
Alberta experiences a good amount of sunshine for its northern location owing to its fairly dry climate; the east central part of the province is one of the sunniest places in Canada with an average of over 2500 hours per year. And at night this sky is LOADED with stars. This is ,indeed, the ... THE ... most beautiful place in the world , for me. One can live a life of luxury mainly because of our petroleum industry. The per capita GDP is at $66000.00, the highest of all the provinces in Canada. The added attraction is that the tax rate is the lowest in Canada.
And NOW .... "and more":
The Engelmann Spruce (Picea engelmannii) is a medium-sized evergreen tree growing to 25-40 m tall, exceptionally to 65 m tall, and with a trunk diameter of up to 1.5 m. It is native to western North America, from central British Columbia and southwest Alberta, southwest to northern California and southeast to Arizona and New Mexico; there are also two isolated populations in northern Mexico. It is mostly a high altitude mountain tree, growing at 900-3450 m altitude, rarely lower in the northwest of the range; in many areas it reaches the alpine tree-line. Engelmann Spruce is of economic importance for its wood, harvested for paper-making and general construction. Wood from slow-grown trees at high altitude has a specialized use in making acoustic guitars and harps. It is also used to a small extent as a Christmas tree.

Hello Aires,
Very nice capture.POV is very interesting.Colors, framing and composition are wonderful.Excellent work!
TFS..:-)

Hi Mario,
This is still something I want to do. I just like this kind of view a lot. But never found the right spot to take it...or just didn´t look up when I needed to. You did it my friend, you looked up the right moment and captured it perfectly. I love the way it feels like the top of the trees are comming together. The contrast between the green and blue sky is perfect.

Hi Aires,
Interesting PoV, shoot straight up to the sky.
Nice clear blue sky, decorated with tops of these spruce trees.
Great shot.

Bonjour Mario
Vraiment très réussie votre photo. Très artistique ! La compsition, le ciel ni trop bleu, ni trop nuageux...
Bravo et merci...JP

Hello Mario,
Interesting point of view, creative way of depicting the forest!
Good strong colours, and the contrast to the beautiful blue sky is good...

Hi Mario

Ohh...i miss such days!!! Charming sunshines, some white fluffy clouds perhaps and warm temperatures - perfect conditions for photography...of any kind.
Unfortunately, nowadays here is very grimm, rainy and cold :((
Anyway, your picture is great!
I like the vertical POV and the overall composition. Also the natural framing given here by the lovely trees is excellent.
Great exposure and lovely, well saturated colors.

Bravo and TFS
