Just so you all know, there are some parts of Canada, like the area that I live in that stay green all year round. Maple trees around here tend to get alot of moss and fern growth on them. This is one such grove. I'm still not sure how I'm going to end up finishing the crop job on this photo, as in this case I like the way the trees are, but the single fern leaf is a bit too centered for my taste.
I'm using Pixmantec's Raw Shooter Essentials 2006 RAW conversion tool now, and I must say that I'm very happy with how well my RAW files are turning out now. Blows away Olympus Master software for sure, and RAW shooter is still free. |

Hello Tim,
This is a great macro. I wonder why your Maple trees have this moss on them; they must be very old, as I never seen something like that here... I'm glad that you found another RAW converter that you like. Is it working with all marks of cameras of is it designed for Olympus? Thanks,
