Great use of ambient light, but I think some light fill flash would make it even better..

Good capture.
You managed a very nice shot, more taking into account that the light direction did not help very much, but you got very good advantage of it and got a great detail and colours. Very nice composition and subject too.

Je me demande bien comment je pourrais voir ces oiseaux chez moi. Il y a plein d'espèces ici mais pas celle-là ou du moins, je n'ai jamais eu la chance de les observer. C'est une excellente photo de cet oiseau coloré. J'aime beaucoup les couleurs, les détails, la pose de l'oiseau et cette prise de vue. Je me sens un peu envieuse en ce moment mais je me dis que toi, tu n'as pas de Cardinaux dans ta région, alors, on ne peux pas tout avoir (je blague évidemment) Félicitation pour cette superbe capture!

Happy 2007 my friend... another great catch, with great colors and compo.

I like it a lot: composition, colors, POV, DOF, focus, sharpness, background, lighting, framing and notes.

I don't like it: nothing.

The combination of the black, yellow and white feathers is marvelously captured here, with excellent clearness.
