Great Horned Owl
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| I had to be very stealthy to get this shot as this bird was rather nervous as it was being harassed by magpies and blue jays.I did manage to get about 140 pictures of it before it flew away.I hope you like this shot. |

Une trčs belle capture que ce hibou,
de belles couleurs, les yeux ressortent
ainsi que le plumage
Belle prise avec un bel angle

Hi Bob
Welcome to Trek Nature.
An excellent capture of this Great Horned Owl. Nicely framed, colours and composition. It almost looks like he's hurt (on his lower tummy) it looks like something sticking out. I'm not sure if it's a branch??

Good image, Bob.
Captured him in the open. Camouflage with branches is displayed very well too...

Howdy Bob!
A warm welcome to High-Riverite! [ Remember Joe Who? ]
Greeting from the East Coast < for now > to you and your Ooh-hoo! Well done, and welcome to TN! Am so glad that we can show our European cousins that we still have these creatures
in the Great White North and can shoot them without being in a zoo!
Love the eyes!!! Great contact and not loony!
So long,
{Blue[nose]} Jay
PS Only 140 shots??? And then the owl flew off... ?
Fantástico.
