Further yesterday's shot,this one is from the observation tower . View of a part of the colony of gannets at Ile Bonaventure.If they look close to each other on ground level, they are not actually as you can see from above. The funny thing is they are coming year after year exactly at the same spot. And don't try to steal a spot from another bird. The intruder will be kicked out quite rapidly. Couples are also for life. They do not travel together, but they join each other on the island. How can they recognize each other ? That's another ball game!
