Hello Francois,
Excellent capture of the Semi-palmated Plover, one I've never seen in real life, but similar and related to our Ringed Plover.
This shot is sharp and well composed and presented its natural environment.

Very nice up close shot on the plover Francois. I'd be tempted to crop out a bit of that bottom blur though.

I love this little bird and I really like the jumble of seaweed on which he is standing. A couple of things are distracting too. One is the out of focus foreground which acts as a kind of barrier between the viewer and the subject. The other is the bright over exposed object behind the bird. It grabs too much attention. I tried a workshop just for fun.

Thanks for sharing. It really is a nice image.

Hi Francois,
Delightful capture of a very cute little bird. Exposure and sharpness is excellent. I find the BG rock a little distracting. For these small types of shorebird I try and get on the ground so as to throw the BG out of focus. Have a look at some of my (or Mazer's) dotterel images for examples.
